EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

• Provide safe and timely transportation for Members attending medical, hospital, and other health-related appointments.
• Schedule transportation services and coordinate with Members regarding pick-up and drop-off times.
• Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and secure transport, including wheelchair clients when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and service-ready vehicle through daily inspections and routine care.
• Complete required records, activity reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide respectful outreach and support to Members with high medical and physical needs.

• Combination of classroom and community-based work environments.
• Frequent interaction with children, families, staff, and community partners.
• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Extended periods of standing or walking.
• May require occasional evening or weekend work for community events, meetings, or program activities.
• Requires the ability to work in active learning environments.
• Occasional lifting, movement of educational materials, and program setup may be required.
• Occasional travel for meetings, training, and events.

• Grade 12 or GED required
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• Experience working with Elders, persons with disabilities, or individuals with complex medical or physical needs is considered an asset
• Experience in a client service, health, or community support role is an asset
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility needs
